Undergraduate teaching
- Developed with colleagues the most popular course in biological science for non-majors at Florida State University with 1200 students per semester. Program of lectures collected in a book "Sex, Drugs and Pollution" that has been through 5 editions. It discusses the biological insight into problems of the biosphere, the society and the individual.
Graduate teaching
- Developed and taught courses in Microbial Ecology, Trophodynamics and Community Structure of Coastal Systems, and the microbiology program of the Marine Biology Saturation course. (Florida State University)
